Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Click on the "RSVP" tab at the top of this webpage. Type your first and last name in the box and click "Continue". Click the "Select" button to the right of your name. The next page will allow you to select "Will Attend" or "Will Not Attend" next to both you and your significant other's names. Select your answer and click "Submit". If you have any difficulty responding online, just let one of us know and we will be happy to complete the form for you!

Question

What happens if I do not RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not get an RSVP back by May 12th, it will be marked as a "No." We will greatly miss you celebrating with us; however, we have to provide a final guest count to the venue and caterer by the date they have given to us and cannot accept late RSVP's. Please mark "Yes" or "No" under the RSVP tab as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate this day with our closest family and friends! Invitations have been specifically made out to those invited. We appreciate your understanding as we are, unfortunately, unable to accommodate additional guests.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event, so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The attire is semi-formal. Feel free to get as fancy as you would like, while staying comfortable and without breaking the bank!

Question

Are there any colors I should avoid wearing?

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid wearing colors traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories & creams.

Question

Can I take pictures & videos?

Answer

Our ceremony inside the barn will be unplugged. This means we are asking all phones and cameras to be put away. This way, you are able to take it all in, celebrate and be in the moment with us. Since this is such a special day for us, we hired an amazing photographer to capture the special moments, and we'd hate to have someone's phone or camera blocking that moment. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos/videos as you want and share them with us!

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

The venue will be open for guests to begin arriving at 3:30pm. We are requesting that you utilize that time to arrive early to park and find your way to a seat, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm.

Question

Why can't I find a wedding registry?

Answer

We have two houses we are combining into one, so we have gone an untraditional route and created a registry with funds for different experiences that you can contribute to if you would like to give a gift.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

There is ample parking at the venue. You will pull directly into the parking lot when you first arrive. Staff will be there to meet you if you have any questions. If you need handicap parking, staff will direct you up the hill to the parking lot just outside the wedding barn, where the ceremony will be held. After the ceremony, you will be able to drive and park closer to the reception tent.

Question

What's for dinner?

Answer

We have decided on light snacks for cocktail hour and suggest you save room for all you can eat New Haven wood fired pizza and salad for dinner. There will be gluten free and vegetarian options available.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes! We will have beer, seltzers, ciders, and wine. No hard liquor will be provided.

Question

Will I get bored?

Answer

Although we hope to see you on the dance floor for at least a portion of the night, there will be various activities including access to a mini golf course, giant jenga, cornhole and more. If you're bored at any point of the day, you did something very wrong.
