DOWNTOWN: (if you want to experience the small city part of Birmingham) - The Painted Lady - The Kelly Birmingham - Redmont Hotel Birmingham SOUTHSIDE (walkable to Coffeeshops, a little rougher around the edges if you aren't used to cities) - Residence Inn by Marriott Birmingham Downtown at UAB - Hilton Birmingham Downtown at UAB HOMEWOOD (more residential, a little bit calmer) - Hampton Inn Birmingham I-65/Lakeshore Drive - Hilton Garden Inn Birmingham/Lakeshore Drive NOTE: This is graduation weekend for a lot of students, so to find more affordable options we recommend looking into airbnb and vrbo in these areas as well: - Highland Park - Avondale - Edgewood (Homewood) - 5 Points (Southside)

If you fly into Atlanta

If you choose to fly into Atlanta, the airport is about 2.5 hours away. You can take a Groome Shuttle right from the airport to downtown!

If you choose to fly into Birmingham, the airport is about 15 minutes away from the city. Our city doesn't have great public transportation, so we recommend taking an Uber/Lyft.
