We first met around 2005 through mutual friends and had hung out maybe a handful of times. In 2019, our daughters went to the same daycare for a period of time and once we realized that through Facebook, we lightly talked about catching up. One weekend shortly after, Ricky and a friend of his came up to my work to visit and we all made plans to hang out that night. After that, Saturday game nights became a thing, weeknight sleepovers, etc. we started “officially dating” 4.27.2020

We went on a vacation with Ricky’s family to Orange Beach, AL. Our second day there, we all spent the afternoon at the beach. A few of his family members “oddly” distracted me by acting like they were trying to show me something in the sand lol Turned around and ✨ Voilà ✨ He had my mom on FaceTime and told me after the fact that he had called a friend for advice on what to say- so adorable.
