What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The attire is semi-formal. Example would be a nice dress, top with skirt or nice pants, blazers. Denim jeans and tennis shoes would not be semi-formal.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

In Sedona at this time, the highs are typically in the mid 70s with lows in the low 50s. You will probably want to bring a jacket for nighttime. If you plan on going north to Flagstaff or the Grand Canyon, you will want to bring warmer attire. The highs are around 60 and the lows around 25 with snow possible. In Phoenix, the highs are in the mid 80s with lows in the low 60s typically.

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception area where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no”, so we can plan accordingly.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Google Maps is accurate for the location. The address is: 120 Canyon Cir Dr Sedona, AZ 86351 Coming from Phoenix: You will take the I-17 N to AZ-179 N in Yavapai County. Take exit 298 from I-17 N. Follow AZ-179 N to Canyon Cir Dr in Village of Oak Creek. At Bell Rock Blvd traffic circle, take the 3rd exit onto Bell Rock Blvd. Turn right onto Canyon Cir Dr. Coming from Flagstaff: Follow I-17 S to AZ-179 N in Yavapai County. Take exit 298 from I-17 S. Follow AZ-179 N to Canyon Cir Dr in Village of Oak Creek. At Bell Rock Blvd traffic circle, take the 3rd exit onto Bell Rock Blvd. Turn right onto Canyon Cir Dr. Alternatively, you can take a more scenic route by taking N State Rte 89A. Once you reach Sedona and get to AZ-179 S, take the 3rd exit onto AZ-179 S at the traffic circle. At Bell Rock Blvd traffic circle, take the 1st exit onto Bell Rock Blvd. Turn right onto Canyon Cir Dr.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive a half hour before the start of the ceremony (3:30), to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Parking is free. There are a few parking spots at the front of the resort, however most parking is on the south side. There are signs guiding you to those spots. Please view the map on the venues website for assistance here: https://www.redagaveresort.net/resort

Answer

Yes but if your invitation does not specify and we have not approved how many people are in your party, please reach out to us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay within the limit imposed by the venue. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We do have arrangements with local hotels. Please view the Travel section for details on this.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

The Deadline to RSVP is March 15th. The RSVP is done online right here on this site. Just click on the RSVP tab.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, there is a wheelchair ramp leading from the south parking lot.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Dinner will be served from a live fire grill. Options include Tri-tip steak and Chicken breast for proteins. For the sides, there will be corn bread, potato salad, and a vegetable medley. And, of course, dessert! For drinks, there will be an open bar including our very own beers that we made! Just be sure to tip the bartenders :)

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

There is no vegetarian option for the main protein. There are the sides, appetizers, and the desserts, of course; however, you may want to bring additional food or snacks. Vegan options are limited and we cannot vouch for the exact ingredients and the preparation conditions. You will want to eat before or bring your own meal. For gluten-free options, the meat is cooked live at the venue on the grill. There are no gluten foods cooked on the same grill. However, the meat will be prepped at their kitchen which is not gluten-free. Other options are prepared beforehand in the kitchen as well so it may depend on how sensitive you are to gluten.

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided. All the hotels listed in the Travel section are within walking distance of the venue and many other accomodations are also within walking distance.

Yes! We encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #LaVidaBishop so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
