FAQs

Question

What is the weather like in November?

Answer

The weather in this particular area, since the location is in the mountains, tends to be chilly especially in fall and winter. In November, you can expect rain or shine with temperatures running in the low 60s during the day and as cold as mid 40s at night. For our guests, we will be providing propane heaters and an indoor space to ensure everyone stays comfortable and warm.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The attire is Semi-Formal which includes long dresses (gowns) and tuxes, but also jumpsuits and suits. Due to the fact that it will get chilly towards the night, we recommend bringing a shawl or jacket. The reception is also outdoors on a grassy area, weather permitting. Therefore women should take that into consideration when making shoe selections.

Question

Where is the venue located?

Answer

The venue is located in the small town of Boulder Creek. For those not from the area, the road to the venue has steep turns, and weaving roads as you drive up the mountain. It is recommended everyone give themselves enough time to arrive to the venue without rushing or speeding as we want everyone to be safe.

Question

What about parking?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are both located in the same location. You will not need to drive to a different venue at the end of the ceremony. You will find parking as you turn into the venue, on your left hand side. There is no parking fee.
