Shannon & Dublin Airport
Shannon Airport is the most convenient choice for those traveling from abroad. It's simply a 10 minute drive to our venue, The Inn at Dromoland and a 20 minute drive to the vibrant town of Ennis, where Sarah is from. The other option is to fly into Dublin Airport, this is about a 2.5 hour drive to our reception venue. From Dublin there are lots of options of car rental and public transport to make your way across the country. Play Airlines are a budget Airline flying Stewart, NY to Dublin with a quick layover in Iceland for some great bargain prices!

Our reception will be held at the Inn at Dromoland, which is just a 10 minute drive from Shannon airport and the halfway point between the airport and the Ennis town. Hotels in Ennis town will give visitors the fun of stepping out into a vibrant bustling town with plenty of shops, pubs and things to see. It will be easy to arrange transport to and from the wedding venue which is a 15 min drive away. The Old Ground Hotel: oldgroundhotelennis.com The Temple Gate Hotel: templegatehotel.com The Queens Hotel: queenshotelennis.com/en/ (bare in mind the Queens is attached to a nightclub) And there are also an array of B&B’s in Ennis town, near our venue and in the surrounding area.

Getting Around
RENT A CAR If you plan to do some touristing by far the easiest way to get around is by car. You can rent a car from the airport or there are various pick up points from the major cities. Try Budget, Avis or Coleman Fox at Enterprise (+353 86 853 8950). TAXIS Please note UBER is NOT AVAILABLE in Ireland! My Taxi is Ireland's version of Uber but is not available in all areas. There are many reliable local taxi services. Airpot customer service or hotel receptions will always be happy to guide you on organising taxis. PUBLIC TRANSPORT Bus and train services are available from airports and between major towns and cities. There are a few public transport options to get to Ennis from Dublin and Shannon airport. Please note public transport is not readily available in some rural areas.
