FAQs

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, this is an adult-only affair. Children are welcome the remainder of your stay to enjoy quality time together.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

No. The best gift we could hope for is having those closest to us be in attendance on our meaningful day.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony and kindly ask that you allow the professional photographer to do their job. We'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone blocking the view. After the ceremony, you are more than welcome to take as many photos as you would like!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes. Please provide any food restrictions or allergies to us as soon as you can to provide our team enough notice to accommodate your needs.

Question

What dates will you be in Punta Cana.

Answer

We plan on being in Punta Cana from December 8 - December 18. We look forward to celebrating any amount of time with you during our stay.

Question

Are you using a travel agent?

Answer

No. We wanted to provide as much flexibility for our guests as possible. If you have additional questions or need assistance, please reach out to us and we will happily help.

Question

Cancellations

Answer

Many resorts offer a full refund up to two weeks before your stay. Please review the resort policy to confirm the cancellation date. Flight cancellations are airline dependent. Please contact the airlines to understand their policies.

Question

Will I need a passport?

Answer

Yes. This is a different country you will be traveling to. Since application wait times can vary from a few weeks to multiple months, we recommend applying for or renewing your passport ASAP to ensure you receive your updated passport prior to traveling.

Answer

The official language spoken throughout the DR is Spanish. However, many natives who work in the hospitality industry speak English. Please be patient if there is any miscommunication and reminder to be respectful as you are a guest visiting their country.

Question

Cellular service

Answer

For communication outside the US, we recommend calling your cell phone provider in regards to your travel dates and rate costs.
