Kristen and Justin met online. A classic “he said, she said,” Justin says Kristen liked his picture first, but she says he had to have liked hers first. It wasn’t long for them to make a connection and they decided it was time to meet. Justin brought a bouquet of her favorite flowers to their first date and after dinner, Kristen kept him from buying the bougie eggs at Target. They planned their second date that night!

As most of you know, Kristen is a self-proclaimed master detective. It is quite difficult to get anything by her. They had plans to go to Chattanooga to visit some of Kristen's friends, and Justin saw this as the perfect opportunity. He mentioned that they should visit Rock City on the way. As they prepared for the trip on Friday night, Justin was showing a few signs that something was up (which he denies) and she began to suspect that something was planned that she wasn’t in on. There were a few other things Justin did that heightened her suspicions, but Justin sticks to the story that she didn’t know anything was happening. They made it to Lookout Mountain and it was there, amidst the amazing views that Justin proposed... and she said yes.
