Deadline to RSVP for in person attendance?

Answer

December 2nd, 2020 - unless you're online then no worries login into the zoom room! Information in the evite emailed to you!

When will the Wedding begin?

Answer

Ceremony is at 2pm CST and we will end by 9pm

Question

I'm afraid to attend in person because well...COVID, are you streaming your wedding online?

Answer

YES. We are going to stream our wedding live online so all of our friends and family can watch us tie the knot, from the comfort of their home. So do not worry about not attending in person we completely understand! We will be sending out the instructions to attend online closer to the date as well as a recipe for our wedding signature cocktail to share in our festivities!

For those of you watching online and are single...We plan to be inventive with the throwing of the garter and bouquet to all of you - stay tuned to have your chance at catching the garter or bouquet!

Will I be expected to wear a mask if I attend the wedding in person?

Answer

We ask that our in person guests wear a mask and practice social distancing. While we understand sometimes it may be uncomfortable to wear a mask, we do have guests that are immunocompromised, so we ask that you help protect them, in addition to protecting yourselves.

What if I forgot my mask and I'm already at the wedding?

Answer

We are offering some fun wedding souvenir masks to each guest to wear that we personalized with our bird and bee-Joshua tree logo. It has no words and can be worn even after the wedding too! If attending in person please take a mask break outside away from guests, and be mindful of others and stay safe.

What is the dress code?

Answer

It's semi-formal! But what does that mean? Get a little dressed up but be comfortable. It will be a cold winter day in Huntley! So long dresses, pant suits, dress shirts and comfortable trousers.

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes! the more the merrier! We will have a kids wedding scavenger hunt, coloring books, and photo taking fun for ages 4 to 14!

I'm concerned about where I am seated during the ceremony and reception because of COVID, what is your plan for this?

Answer

Not to worry in addition to wearing masks, all guests will be seated with their fellow guests that they have isolated and lived with during these pandemic times, in order to make our guests more comfortable and relaxed.

What's the menu as I have dietary issues?

Answer

We are having a variety of food offerings from pulled pork, to roasted chicken, and prosciutto wraps, to mozzarella caprese skewers. Not to mention Vanilla Cake and chocolate cupcakes!

What will the weather be?

Answer

According to the forecast for Huntley- it will be a chilly winter's day with a high of 23 degrees and a low of 11 degrees. With a possibility of 1 and a half inches of snow. So bundle up!

What is the venue like?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at the groom's sister's home in Huntley, IL followed by a small reception at the neighborhood clubhouse down the street.

How soon should I arrive for the wedding?

Answer

If arriving in person 10-15 mins early for all the online guests please check your connection 30-25 minutes early to ensure you are able to connect.

Will there be a cash bar? what are you serving?

Answer

For in person guests drinks are on us! We have a limited supply once the bar is out, the drinking is done. But not to worry we think there will be more than enough to go around. We will be serving a selection of beer, white & red wine, as well as Andrew and Jenny's signature cocktail the "Bolt Thrower" a bourbon based, fresh citrus with cloves handmade syrup, Heering cherry liquor and Jones' orange cream soda created by our friend John McCormick owner of the Burbank bar the Roguelike Tavern.
