ARE KIDS INVITED?

Answer

In order to allow all guests, including parents, a time of celebration, we have chosen to make our wedding ceremony and reception an adult only occassion. We hope this advance notice will mean you are still able to share in our weekend and enjoy the time with us!

IS THERE TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE HOTELS TO THE SERVICE/RECEPTION?

Answer

There is an abundance of ride sharing services near the city, that may be the most convenient. As a back up, we have arranged for mini bus transportation for up to 76 passengers on a first come first served basis. Schedule will be available at Renaissance Arlington Capital View. If you have your own car: Parking near the church is limited. There is some street parking, and a parking garage close by. For the reception, there will be complimentary valet parking at Army Navy Country Club.

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

WHAT SHOULD I DO BETWEEN THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION?

Answer

The ceremony will be from about 2:30-3:45pm, and the cocktail hour begins at 6:00pm. Guests are welcome to kick up their heels and rest before the main event. If you are interested in grabbing a drink instead, there is a great rooftop bar a block away from the church (City Bar, at Hyatt Place). The bar at the wedding hotel is another great option. Army Navy Country Club will welcome guests for the cocktail hour at 6:00pm. The wedding party will be away taking pictures during this break, but we will all reconnect at cocktail hour!
