The matrimony of Jake and Annika

Jake and I met in high school, in criminal business law class, an elective class. I had chosen it because I was on a huge true crime binge and it felt like something I'd enjoy. We started talking after we befriended our now long-time friend Noah in class. Every day we would talk about nothing and everything and laugh about it. Eventually, he asked to hang out. We watched my favorite movie and nearing the end, he asked me to pick 1 out of 10. I said 7, he said we would wait for 7 minutes. I was so nervous because I had no idea what it could be. After the longest 7 minutes I have ever experienced, he asked me out and I was so overcome with emotion I didn't speak for what felt like forever—I hid my face into a stuffed animal zebra. I looked up and said, "Oh, I have to answer?". He looked dumbfounded and I said yes! He was so happy and continues to be happy about my choice to say yes! Now here we are getting married after 7 long and prosperous years together.
