Sofitel Shenyang Lido Hotel

This hotel is right next to our wedding reception(386 Qingnian Street). Staying in this hotel would bring you the convenience that you can walk back to the hotel after our wedding ceremony. We will have Michael's close family staying this hotel as well if you want to hang out with them. However, if you prefer to stay at a SPG hotel, there is a Le Méridien (further to the wedding reception but more shopping malls around).

Le Meridien Shenyang, Heping

This hotel is in the shopping central but further to the wedding reception(10-15 mins car ride). The car service will pick up guests from the OTHER hotel on the morning of August 18. Be prepared to take a taxi after the wedding ceremony considering all the drivers and guests will likely be drunk by this time.

Additional travel tips

- The airport code for Shenyang is SHE, full name is Shenyang Taoxian International Airport. -Traveling from US, you will need to transit at Shanghai or Beijing. If you want to make a trip out of it, we recommend going to Beijing a few days in advance or afterwards. - Social media apps are not as functional in China. Facebook and WhatsApp do not work. I recommend downloading WeChat (messaging app) and Didi (Chinese uber app) before going to China. - Since Google is not supported in China, we recommend downloading a "map" of Shenyang and the Google translation app (along with the Chinese dictionary) before you arrive in China. - Recommended places to visit in Beijing: Great Wall of China, Summer Palace, Forbidden City, night markets - Recommended places to visit in Shenyang: Forbidden City, Bing's family and other places.
