Things To Do

Here is a list of some of our favorite places to eat, drink and visit in the greater Charleston area. Most restaurants in downtown Charleston do require a reservation sometimes weeks in advance. So if there is something you want to check out, both Resy and Open Table, are the best reservation apps to use in the city.

Edmund's Oast Brewing Co.

1505 King Street, Charleston, SC 29405
, (843) 718-3224

Great outdoor dog friendly patio. Billy loves the beers on tap here and Shayna loves their mixed lemonade drinks. You can't go wrong with the pizzas from Edmond Oast!

Firefly Distillery

4201 Spruill Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29405
, (843) 557-1405

Grab a tasting at Firefly offered every half hour and try their famous sweet tea vodka and fresh squeezed lemonade vodka

EVO Pizzeria

1075 East Montague Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29405
, (843) 225-1796

This is by far the best pizza in Charleston hands down (trust us we have tried a lot). A bit of a drive to North Charleston from downtown but certainly worth the trip to Park Circle.

Taco Boy

217 Huger Street, Charleston, SC 29403
, (843) 789-3333

Our go to spot for Tacos and margaritas. Billy recommends the blood orange margarita. Indoor and outdoor seating if the weather is nice.

Halls Chophouse

434 King Street, Charleston, SC 29403
, (843) 727-0090

If you are looking for a swanky night out this is it. It does require a reservation at least a few weeks out or more if you are wanting prime time dinner spots. The experience and service is second to none on King Street.

Palmetto Brewing Co.

289 Huger Street, Charleston, SC 29403
, (843) 937-0903

Great beer on tap along with seltzers and wine. Live music and their own food truck is always on site.

Graft Wine Shop & Wine Bar

700b King Street, Charleston, SC 29403
, (843) 718-3359

We love going to Graft and enjoying the cool atmosphere and delicious wine. Co-owner Miles and his staff are always wanting to help find something you love to drink in their vast and ever-changing wine selection. They do have select beers in the fridge as well if that is more your speed.

Rainbow Row

83-107 East Bay Street, Charleston, SC 29401
, (803) 528-8317

Sullivan's Island Beach

Charleston, SC 29492

The roads running perpendicular to the beach are named in sequential order “Station #”. Banzai thoroughly enjoys beach days. Shayna and Billy park at Station 23, make sure to have all tires off the street, then walk down the path and dock until you get on the beach. Here you can enjoy views of cargo ships coming into and out of port, super clean sand, pelicans and sometimes dolphins. This is a very dog friendly beach so be prepared to encounter many lovely dogs. Shayna and Billy help contribute to making this the cleanest beach every weekend by picking up trash as we see it and throwing it away at the end of the trip.

Drybar - Charleston

556 King Street, Charleston, SC 29403
, (843) 872-3570

If you are looking to get your hair done before the wedding, Dry bar is conveniently located on King Street and walking distance from both of our hotel blocks.

Baguette Magic

73 Spring Street, Charleston, SC 29403
, (843) 471-5941

If your looking for a cool spot to grab some coffee or a pastry, we love Baguette Magic! Their croissants are some of the best you will find in the city!

For all the days along the way
