What to expect at a Greek wedding celebration?

At the ceremony, you will witness Greek wedding traditions that we are so excited to share with you! These include: 1. The Betrothal, 2. The Crowning, 3. The Blessing, 4. A Shared Drink, 5. The First Steps, and lastly 6. The Prayer and Blessing. Some unique things to keep an eye out for are the Stefana (wedding crowns), our Koumbara/Koumbaro (god parents), and the Lambades (candles). Additionally, make sure to have some cash set aside for when the Greek dancing begins during the reception!

When should I RSVP by?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving 15 minutes before the ceremony start time, at 2:15 pm. Please factor in additional time for inclement weather so you get to the church safely and keep an eye on the Patriots schedule for game day delays (https://www.patriots.com/schedule/).

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We spent a lot of time envisioning our perfect day and kindly ask our guests to follow Black-Tie Optional attire, suitable for dancing the night away!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love our family and friends of all ages more than anything in the world. And although we understand the added difficulty this may cause during the holiday season, we politely ask those attending to leave their young ones behind for a worry-free date night! We thank you for your understanding.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! All entrees are gluten-free but please add your additional requests in the specified section of your invitation (i.e. vegan, vegetarian, Celiac, etc) and/or reach out to us directly.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is ample parking at both locations but we invite you to take the shuttle from the hotel to the reception following the ceremony.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Since friends and family will be arriving to the church from all directions, we will not be providing transportation to our ceremony. However, there will be a shuttle to and from the reception later in the day. Stay tuned for a shuttle schedule and thanks for your cooperation!

We are in the process of planning a welcome party and patiently awaiting the Patriots 2024 Schedule release to plan our day after. Stay tuned!
