FAQs

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Formal, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

We live in California, so your guess is as good as ours. It could be 50 degrees and cold, or 90 degrees and hot. We are hoping for a beautiful sunny and 75 degree day, but pack some options!

Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held outdoors. However, if the weather is bad and it rains, we will be inside of the barn. Either way, please be sure to wear shoes that are comfortable and you don't mind getting dirty!

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love your kids-we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! There will be an open bar and lots of fun to be had, so please leave your kids at home.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 3pm, so please arrive by 2:45pm at the latest so you have time to get settled before the proceedings.

Question

Will there be parking available?

Answer

Yes, parking will be available onsite.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged wedding, and we invite you to be fully present during our ceremony. Kindly turn off your phones and cameras to truly enjoy this moment with us. Our wedding photographer is incredible, and we will happily share the photos that are captured with you.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

YES. There will be beer, wine, and seltzers available!

Question

What's your wedding hashtag?

Answer

Our wedding hashtag is #TheRestIsHusstory! Please use this hashtag if you post photos on social media so we can look back on our special day.

Question

What type of food and drink will be served?

Answer

We will have an open bar serving all kinds of beer, wine, and seltzers. There will be an array of appetizers including chips and guacamole and mini quesadillas. For dinner we will have tacos, beans, and rice, as well as fresh green salad.

Question

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

If you have dietary restrictions/allergies, please reach out to Jaymie at (916)802-5231.
