What Time Should I Arrive to the Ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 6 p.m. but please plan to arrive early to allow time for parking and / or to walk to the beach from your parking spot.

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. For the beach ceremony, we suggest that guests bring two pairs of shoes: a comfy pair to wear on the beach / something you don't mind potentially being covered in sand and a pair for the reception.

Will the Ceremony, Cocktail Hour and Reception Take Place Indoors or Outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors on the Beach at 6th Ave in Asbury Park, NJ. Cocktail Hour will be at the outdoor patio and the reception will take place indoors at the Renaissance in Ocean Twp, NJ. In case of rain, the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all take place indoors at the Renaissance.

What Happens If It Rains?

Answer

In case of light drizzle, the ceremony will still take place at the beach. In case of heavy wind and rain (please knock on wood), the ceremony will be moved indoors at the Renaissance.

Parking for Ceremony Space and Reception Venue

Answer

Ceremony: There is metered parking and lots along the Asbury Park Boardwalk but please keep in mind that parking can be difficult in the middle of the busy season. We would suggest downloading the Asbury PARK app for payment ease. Reception: The Renaissance has a parking lot!

Will There Be An Open Bar?

Hell Yeah! Please remember to bring cash to tip your bartenders.

Have You Booked Hotel Room Blocks for Guests?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to a busy weekend in Asbury Park (our wedding falls on the same weekend as a music + arts festival, as well as the Asbury Park Tattoo Convention), we were not able to block out any rooms for guests. Please check out the Travel page if you plan on staying the night.

Our reception ends at 12 a.m. We will be heading over to the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park after, please join us!

Where Should We Bring / Send Our Wedding Gift?

Answer

Your presence is already a present! If you would like to honor us with a gift though, you can select a gift from the registry and it will ship to our address. We will also have a wedding card box at our reception.
