Ashleigh and Billy met in February of 2022 online. They instantly clicked, even though Ashleigh made Billy talk to her online for a month before allowing him to have her number. She wasn't giving in that easily. They got together in late March of 2022 after Ashleigh asked, "are you going to make me your girlfriend or not?". Very demanding much? Ashleigh knew he was the one after he took in her daughter (Baileigh) as his own. Baileigh has been his little 'princess' ever since. As Ashleigh puts it, Billy is her 'prince charming in cowboy boots'. So romantic right? Ashleigh and Billy had been dating for a little over two years before Billy popped the question in a cemetery. Billy could never keep a secret and was too excited to wait. He asked Ashleigh to marry him on May 8, 2024 after her grandmother's funeral in the Kenly cemetery. Talk about morbid right? Great story to tell their children. Three years and two beautiful children (Baileigh & Waylon) later, the couple is finally saying I DO!
