We first met in April 2021 over dinner at a popular spot only the locals know: Chili’s. What started as your typical first date with food and small talk quickly turned into friendly competition at Pirate’s Cove Putt-Putt. After 18 holes and back and forth scores, we ended in a tie, with Ally ultimately winning the tiebreaker. Over our first year of dating, we bonded over soccer (especially Atlanta United), food (not Chili’s), and movie nights (with plenty of popcorn and sweet treats). Even though we started our relationship during a busy season of life, my first year as a pharmacist and Ally in the thick of her clinical year of PA school, we only grew closer. Between packed schedules, we still made time for each other through long drives to meet halfway, virtual movie dates, and spending any free moments we could together. Through all of it, I quickly realized just how special Ally is. She is the kind of person who steps out of her comfort zone, shows up wholeheartedly for the people she loves, and brings an infectious energy wherever she goes. As you can imagine, it didn’t take long for me to fall in love with her. On May 1st, 2025, I got down on one knee and asked Ally to marry me in the garden at Ray’s on the River. It was an emotional rollercoaster in the best way; full of surprise, joy, love, and of course, great food. It felt like the perfect reflection of how I’ve learned to approach life with Ally: making beautiful memories, taking plenty of photos, and ending the day with a good steak. As we move into this next chapter, we are so excited to celebrate with the people we love. We can’t wait to see you on September 19th!
