The fastest way to get to the island is to fly, with flights leaving daily from Westerly, RI.

The Block Island Ferry
Not exactly a flight but this is the most popular way to get to the island. The New London ferry does not run this time of year so all ferries will leave from Point Judith, RI. There is both a highspeed (30 minutes travel time) and slow speed boat (1 hour travel time) that will get you to the island with departure times throughout the day. If you are planning to take a car (which you do not need to) you will need to take the slow ferry and it is encouraged to book soon as these reservations fill up. Book online or call to make a reservation. Note, the highspeed ferry schedule has not been posted yet.
