First picture together! A Bus Driver and a Waitress thinking they were going to fail the same class… Adam asked Cassandra to take a test together, and it turned into the best summer of their lives! Boating, running around downtown Grand Forks until the sun came up, endless time with friends, concerts, going to the cabin up north, and falling in love..
Met each others families, and braved their first North Dakota Winter together. Cass went to Kansas to visit for new years, and Adam tested positive for COVID as soon as she walked in the door - So they spent their first new years together, quaratined and playing board games in Adam’s childhood home.
This summer was more cabin, more friends, and lots of flying. Cass and Adam have the same flight instructor, and have been side by side getting each other through school, trying to become CFI's themselves. Graduation is coming soon...
This picture was taken the night before separating to go home for winter break. Both College Grads, and coming back in January to start flight instructing.
This entire year was working, working, and more working. Both got hired to flight instruct at UND. They went to Oregon for Leahs wedding, and fit in more fun things when they could. But mostly, it was flying with students, getting up before the sun and getting home after it had set. This was an exhausting year, but they got through it together.
Last photo in Grand Forks! Both have jobs waiting at the airlines and went to Cancun to celebrate - first vacation the two of them! Cass left for training a few months before Adam, and they were apart for a while. But then Adam moved to Minnesota for training, too! Collectively, they lived in hotels for 6 months straight this winter, but happy to be back in the same state!
Both officially Airline Pilots! This summer was so much fun - Philly for a day, Amsterdam for a weekend, and visited each other on layovers in fun places (like beautiful Rapid City, SD). Cass was stuck in New York and Adam busy flying out of MSP - but the few days a month they did have together, they made the most of it.
More fun travels and fun times with friends. Went to Santa-Con in NYC! Cass escaped commuting to NYC & was finally based in MSP, and Adams schedule was getting better, too. They finally had more than a few days a month together and life was slowing down.
Adam proposed where they'd spent many summer together, on the porch, looking out over the water. In the same place their lives began to intertwine four summer before, they started forever. (thank you Kris and Ronny Mills for the unlimited cabin access) We’re so excited to start our lives together, and celebrate with the people who mean the most to us. Love, Adam and Cassandra
