Near town for a hike we would recommend the Aspen Alley trail or blue river trail for both hiking and mountain biking.

, (970) 468-5400

If you have a car and want a one of a kind, somewhat difficult, high elevation, waterfall and lake hike then drive 30 minutes south of town to McCullough Gulch Trailhead. The earlier you get there the better because the parking can get very busy here. It is about a 2 hour round trip hike, 6 miles out and back.
