I first met Kayla when she came to visit SIU our Junior year of college. From the second we met, it was an instant click. We knew that no matter what happened, her and I would remain close. I still remember when she had her first date with Bill. I was waiting patiently to give her that “get out of a date” phone call. When the time came to give her a call, she instantly introduced me to Bill over the phone. That moment I knew it would be her last first date! Now, I can’t wait to stand by her side on her very special day.

William and I have been best friends since kindergarten at St. Celestine in Elmwood Park. We grew up bonding over being huge sports fans and especially bonded over the Chicago White Sox. We have been going to games since before I can remember and still to this day. Not only did we attend grammar school together but we were lucky enough to go to the same high school as well. Shamrock Shamrock. Being able to stand by Bill’s side on his big day means the world to me since he’s stood by my side through the up’s and downs of life throughout our 25 years of friendship.

Kayla and I met our freshman year of college at ISU, and then we were roommates for a couple years. Kayla is one of my best friends and I am so lucky to have a friend as amazing as her. Even though we live 1,200 miles away from each other now, we are still so close. I knew from the first time she told me about Bill that he was someone who would always make her happy. I am so excited to stand by her side as she marries her best friend.

I’ve personally known Bill for about 10 years. We have shared many great times and memories. Unfortunately for Kayla I was the first friend of his that she met. On the plus side, that did not scare her away. I’m thankful to be standing up in their wedding and able to share this memorable day with them.

I’m Bill’s oldest sister. It’s been amazing to watch the man you have grown into. Your perseverance, loyalty, and willingness to always help those in need no matter the size of the request has made me the luckiest to have the BEST younger brother to look up to; and I do look up to you physically also since you are taller.

I’m Bill’s brother in law and have know Billy for just over a decade. He’s the best brother I could ever ask for and hoping the best for you two as you start your future together.

As one of Billy's older sisters, it's been a blessing to have such a loving and selfless brother in my life. I'm so happy you found someone that shares the same qualities and values in life as you - It's also a great plus to have a soon-to-be sister who appreciates the next "teen" binge-worthy show as much as I do ;) I'm beyond excited for the two of you and wish you nothing but the best!

I'm Bill's brother-in-law, Nick. Bill and I always have a great time and make the best out of each moment. I'm honored to be standing with you during this start of a new chapter in your life with Kayla.

Being Kayla’s cousin I have had the honor of knowing her my entire life. Being so close in age we quickly became best friends and I always and still look forward to seeing my favorite cousin during family events. I am so happy that Kayla has found an amazing guy who truly loves and appreciates her. Bill had quickly became a presence at family parties and fit in well with craziness. Kayla and I may not have functioning colons and are very annoying when together (our dads would agree with this) but we will always be cousin twins and Jaffe’s for life! Congrats Kayla and Bill I hope you guys have a long and happy life together!

Hello everyone I’m Ricky and I’m blown away to receive the opportunity to be by Billy’s side on this life changing day. Billy is a man that I’ve had the distinct honor of calling one of my best friends since the 3rd grade. Bill has consistently raised the standard of what it means to be a true friend. When it comes to compassion and understanding, billy is unmatched, that is until he met his future wife Kayla. I’m overjoyed that bill has met a woman that can push him to be an even better person than he already is and he can compliment the person she is as well. You two will do wonderful things together and I’m happy to be a part of it coming to fruition. Cheers.

Five years ago I met Kayla when I was dating her brother Ryan. Her and I had our ups and down but we became closer over the years. I know that I can go to Kayla for anything and she would help us! When she said that she was going out one night. She asked Ryan and I if we wanted to go. We both looked at Kayla and said eh we will stay home. Then Kayla said she was going to meet up with the guy she has been talking to. Ryan and I looked at each other and said we will go with! That is when we met Bill! Kayla is an amazing aunt and sister! I can’t wait stand by her and watch her marry the love of her life! :)

Bill and I met our freshman year at St. Pats after starting off at rival elementary schools but became fast friends bonding over sports, especially playing football. Over the 14 years that I’ve known Bill, him and I have remained close through our constant jokes, backyard hangouts, family parties, and White Sox Games. Bill has continued to be a constant in our friend group. He keeps all of us in line and always watches out for us. I can’t wait to stand by his side as he gets to marry a girl who compliments him so well. Cheers to Bill and Kayla!

I first met Kayla in 2016 through our friend Kelly and we instantly clicked right away because of us both being teachers. We each had someone to vent to about the good, bad, and ugly of our profession. We also bonded over our mutual distaste of staying out late because #teachertired 24/7. When Kayla first told me about Bill, I instantly knew they were made for one another. There was just this look in her eye and her tone of voice that told me from the start that this guy was the one for her.

When I started School at St. Celestines back in '96 I never would've imagined that 25 years later we would all be this close and standing on the alter with Bill as he makes another amazing transition in life. We sure have come along way from the wrestling days and almost setting Mr. McMahons carpet on fire from playing with wrestling toys... sorry about that one sir!!! But all the stories end the same with Bill and how he would always stick up for his friends and was accepting of the consequences even when he knew they were unfavorable for him. That's what always stuck out to me about Bill is that he never acted like a friend, but always like a brother.
