In December of 2016 I reached out to my friend Kayleigh (who is now my sister in law!) and asked if her husband Andy could come help with some electrical work downtown at my condo. When the day arrived, she texted me an hour before to let me know that she was sending Andy's brother, Bill, to help instead since he worked up the street. I didn't think much of it at the time. I met Bill at the condo and instantly I knew he was the one. After he left, I remember calling my good friend Kayla and my dad telling them that I just met the man I was going to marry! Bill ended up reaching out to me the next day and the story continues!

In the fall of 2020, Bill and I were spending the day in Indiana with family and friends for Bill's nephew's walk to cure AHC. After a long drive home, we got in the house and headed upstairs to watch TV on the couch and relax. We texted Bill’s sister and brother in law to see where the donations were at to see if they met their goal. He asked me to grab his checkbook out of his work bag so we could help meet their goal. I started to look for it but couldn't find it. I ended up tossing his work bag over to him. As I watched him waiting to see where it was, he ended up pulling out a ring box instead and I was shocked! There were not many words that came after that but I do remember asking, “Are you going to ask me?!" It was the easiest decision of my life!
