Bill and Kassi met at the University of Texas at Dallas in 2017. They were in the same student organization, NOVA. NOVA had an end of the year celebration/banquet for all current members (Bill) and all new joiners (Kassi). As Kassi had arrived early to the banquet as Bill was entering the restaurant he thought she worked there. Later in the night it would be destiny that they sat right across from one another. After a night of pasta, games, and putting up with Bill's bad jokes, Kassi would join the group out for a night out in Dallas. Bill didn't wait until the upcoming year to steal away her phone number and later over that summer steal away her heart.
