We're getting married!

We matched on Tinder, so our meeting was pure luck, some might say fate. The first thing he said to me was the cheesiest pick up line ever, but it worked. He sent an emoji of a lemon and then said "Sorry, they were all out of pick up limes" and that was when I knew I just had to meet him in person. Our first date was the next day, of course it was Valentines Day. He took me out for sushi, after we drove out to the lake and watched the sunset. Then we went back to the base and he showed me around Fort Polk. We then went back to his house for a cup of Tea. I think in total our first date lasted seven or eight hours!

We took our first trip to Michigan together in late June and after spending two weeks with him up there I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him and didn't want to wait much longer to be able to do that. So we came back down in early July and he decided we should redo our first date because we hadn't had sushi in a while and it would be a fun little thing to do. I didn't suspect anything. We got to the lake and we were sitting in his trunk and he said I can't wait to marry you, I said I couldn't wait to marry him either. So he pulled out the ring and said "Well lets not wait then". I almost cried and of course I said yes! We are so excited for December! See you then!
