Dear Friends and Family, After many months of back and forth, hoping for guidelines to change, Bill and I have made the difficult decision to cancel our wedding reception. One year ago we were very hopeful that we would not have to make this decision, and that our event could go on as we had always pictured it. Unfortunately, there are still some restrictions in place; such as not being able to have a dance floor, or have guests mingling. We are eternally grateful for all the love and support that we have been shown in our first year of marriage, and we so wanted to be able to celebrate with each and every one of you. We are sorry for the inconvenience and trouble that this has caused people. This has been a trying time for everyone and at the end of the day we are just so happy to be married. Dear Friends and Family We have made the difficult decision to postpone our reception to 2021. We will be moving forward with our "Plan C" and still get married on July 11th, 2020, with our family members that are able in attendance. When we thought about how we wanted our reception to be, we couldn't picture not getting to hug and make fools of ourselves on the dance floor with you all. We look forward to doing that on July 9th, 2021. We are so sorry for any inconvenience we have caused, this was not a decision that we made lightly, but was made with everyone's well being in mind. Friends and Family, We would like to first thank you for your patience with us as we evaluate the best way to celebrate our wedding during the current COVID-19 pandemic. We have decided; nonetheless, if the government will allow us to be married on July 11, 2020, we will be. At this point we have 3 possible plans for that date. Plan A: Our wedding and reception will be held as planned at The Beach House while maintaining proper social distancing protocol for all guests who feel safe attending. Plan B Our wedding and reception will be held at The Beach House with a reduced guest list of select family and friends. Those invited will be notified separately. Plan C Our wedding ceremony will be held at The Harborage Condominium with a small party of just family. Other guests who have access to a boat are invited to bring it to the front of The Harborage on Lake Charlevoix and anchor to view our ceremony from a safe distance.
