This is one of the places we went to on our excursion to Rome. The Cemetary is gorgeous and definitely a must see. From massive trees to a giant wooden sculpture of a guardian angel... it is definitely worth the trip. I believe it is drive through access up until a point. There is a monument at the very top of the hill as well as some intricate mausoleums and a wide view of the city and surrounding mountains.
