We met online (Tinder!) and had our first date in Old Town Alexandria, Va. Audra remembers the cute skirt she wore (Bill does too :) and even though it was dinner, Bill just had to order the biscuits and gravy. As it happened, the date was at the bar literally across the street from Audra's apartment. Learning this, Bill offered to drive Audra home, absolutely confusing her Yankee ways with his Southern charm! We have laughed ever since, and don't plan on stopping! Bill waited until Audra had a fresh manicure to hike to the top of the mountain on the Bear's Den trail in Boyce, Va. It was a wild, rainy day and Bill kept insisting they try and hike the trail (Audra knew there were wineries very close by, so she wasn't that set on hiking in a thunderstorm). The storms began to clear and Bill got on one knee. (Audra said yes ;)
