We met in the fall of 2018, and it wasn’t long before we became the very best of friends. As time passed, our connection deepened, and in the spring of 2020, the stars aligned and we officially began our journey together. Soon after, we moved into our first home together, where we built the foundation of love that our little family would grow from. In 2021, we adopted another sweet — and delightfully mischievous — puppy, giving us a small glimpse into a season of life we’d soon know well. (Who knew someone could need to go potty every two hours? Sounds familiar!) In November 2023, Bill proposed to Angela during a serene boat ride on Lake Ashi in Hakone, Japan, surrounded by misty mountains and quiet magic. It was a moment that felt both surreal and unforgettable. Of course, Angela said yes — but shortly after, our wedding plans paused for the most beautiful reason imaginable: we were embarking on the incredible journey of parenthood. On September 28, 2024, we welcomed our son, Elias Robert Fedorka, into the world. Sharing life with him has been the greatest joy of our lives, and we can’t wait to celebrate and share our beautiful day with him by our side. The mountains have always held a special place in our hearts. In 2020, Asheville was the destination of our very first big vacation together — a place where our love for adventure, nature, and one another truly took root. Returning here to exchange our vows feels like coming full circle. On June 1, 2026, we are so excited to celebrate our love in the mountains, surrounded by our closest family and friends, in a place that has meant so much to us from the very beginning.
