Alamo Square
This park has a very special place in our hearts, since it was our backyard when we first moved in together! Pack a blanket, grab some wine and snacks and enjoy it all with a great view of the city and the famous Painted Ladies!
Giants Game!
Need we say more? No visit to the city is complete without a trip to A&T Park, home of the San Francisco Giants. The stadium sits right on the water and provides amazing views of the bay.
The Ferry Building
This is a cool indoor market in the Financial District that houses a variety of specialty foods, with views of the San Francisco Bay. We love Gotts Roadside Burgers for a burger and milkshake, or Out the Door for Vietnamese. This is also a great spot to pick up a special gift or souvenir to bring home.
La Taqueria
The Felder Family has been enjoying this SF establishment for the last 35 years. If you're looking for authentic Californian-Mexican, be sure to visit. Don't be intimidated if the line is long- you can always call in for pick up and skip the line ;) The best salsa fresca and agua frescas!
Golden Gate Park
Don’t forget to spend some time roaming around the 1,000+ acres of Golden Gate Park. You can explore the many different gardens, explore lakes, monuments, and playgrounds, or just stop for a photo op in the middle of this breathtaking scenery—but no matter what, don’t pass this up.
Visit Marin County
At the other end of the Golden Gate Bridge lies the quiet escape of Marin County. It has arguably some of the best hand-raised oysters around, and the surrounding farmland means plenty of farm-to-table restaurants to enjoy- so go and check it out!
