We met at 16 and 17 years old, working our very first jobs at Kroger. Through the years, we have watched each other graduate high school, earn college degrees, give our lives to the Lord through baptism, and have helped sculpt each other into the adults we are today. After 6 years, on Brandon’s birthday, he (finally) asked me to marry him. He disguised the ring in a gift bag wrapped like one of his birthday gifts. Everyone knew, except me! He unwrapped the ring box and got down on one knee. Finally, I get to put all the years worth of Pinterest boards to use!
