We highly recommend that you book accommodations either in the Carmel area or in Big Sur. Carmel is a lovely town that has tons of excellent restaurants and shops, while Big Sur is a national park with stunning redwood trees and unlimited outdoor adventures. We have activities in both locations (welcome event in Carmel, wedding ceremony in Big Sur) and will have shuttles going between the two locations for both events :) Carmel and Big Sur are ~3 hrs south of San Francisco, so out-of-towners may need to rent or borrow a car. Flight

San Francisco International Airport (SFO)

This is one of the largest airport hubs in the area, and will probably have the best international flights for our friends across the pond :) It is about a 2.5-3 hr drive from Big Sur / Carmel area.

San Jose Mineta Airport (SJC)

This airport is slightly smaller than SFO and may have fewer international flights, but sometimes you can catch a good deal and it is also a slightly shorter drive to Big Sur / Carmel area.
