Amidst Covid lockdowns, Ryan and Ashley both found themselves addicted to a mobile war game. One day, Ashley tried to start up a rousing rally against a juicy juicy target, when Ryan snatched the leadership opportunity up and set it first. It wasn't long before Ryan snatched Ashley's heart as well. Ashley and Ryan chatted online for months until finally he made the long, seven-hour drive from Missouri to Michigan to meet. The seven-hour drive wasn't long enough, however, as Ashley made him wait outside for an extra thirty minutes so she could finish cleaning her apartment. The Willis girls aren't known for timeliness... One trip turned into many trips as Ashley and Ryan fell in love. Ryan loved the beaches and rockhounding in Michigan...he also loved Ashley and her cooking. He was eager to make the drive with every trip. It was after Ryan drove from Missouri to nurse Ashley back to health for weeks from a severe ear infection that Ashley knew she couldn't live without him. He had truly seen her at her worst and was there for her with every moment. Ashley convinced Ryan to find a job in Michigan and to make the big move...It didn't take much convincing. As Ryan and Ashley have built their life together they have found many activities that they love. Ryan is Ashley's favorite and only KB, they listen to music and cook together almost every single night. Ryan has shared his love of rockhounding with Ashley, and they use it as an excuse to take walks on the beach and relax together. Ryan and Ashley love opportunities to get away and explore. In the summer, they go on camping trips - mostly for opportunities to cook and rockhound with different scenery. They love to explore when they travel - Cenote swimming in Mexico, visiting the Grand Canyon and white water rafting in West Virginia. They are excited to go somewhere warm - location undecided - for their Honeymoon in March 2023. Ashley and Ryan have invigorated each other's joy, willingness to love and to be loved, and energy for life. They are excited to build a life, a home and a family together - but they are even more excited to celebrate the start of their journey together with you.
