How often should I check this website?

Answer

As our wedding date is still 10 months out, we do not have everything finalized. Please plan to come back to this website periodically to check for updates!

Are kids invited?

Answer

As much as we love all your little ones, our wedding will be an adult event.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to limited capacity at our venue, we can only accommodate those who are formally invited. Only guests named on the invitation, with exceptions of those with a plus one. Thank you for understanding.

Is the ceremony going to take place outside?

Answer

We do plan to host our ceremony outside! (fingers crossed) However, with our wedding taking place in October, there is always a chance for rain (or snow). We do have a backup ceremony site if needed. But please dress accordingly and be prepared for mid-fall weather!

Can I take pictures of the ceremony?

Answer

We please kindly ask that our ceremony remain device free. We want all of our loved ones to be present with us for the short time, and we will have a professional there to document our special moment. Once the ceremony has ended, and we have moved to cocktail hour, then by all means snap away!

Will there be any after hours?

Answer

Our reception will be ending at 9pm. That seemed a little too early to end our perfect day, so we will be heading over to the Turning Stone Resort and Casino after the reception. It is conveniently located 10 minutes down the road from the venue! All are welcome to join, and no hard feelings if you don't make it! We know it will be a long day.

Which hotel should I book my room at?

Answer

Due to the Turning Stone not allowing room blocks, we have added an additional hotel, the Hampton, that will have a room block. Our late night shenanigans will be bringing us to the Turning Stone after the reception! Due to other weddings in the area the same weekend, rooms are going fast, and rates are higher than normal. You can either book a room with them at your earliest convenience, or book a room at the nearby hotel. It is all personal preference, and we do not mind either way! All hotels nearby have a shuttle service to the Turning Stone.

How far is the venue from Syracuse?

Answer

The venue is 40 minutes east of Syracuse.

Will there be a shuttle?

Answer

This is tentative. We are looking into a third party shuttle service. More info to come.

Question

Will I be able to check into my hotel before the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony starts at 3pm, so guests should expect to arrive by 2:30pm. With that being said, most hotel check-ins are not until 3 or 4pm. A gentle reminder to please plan accordingly, we would hate for anyone to miss the ceremony!
