Welcome to Our Love Story!

It all began in April 2021 at a local spot in our hometown called The Vibe. Corey was recording a video on his phone, and LaTia was sitting next to Corey. LaTia decided to pop into the video and casually bob her head. That definitely caught Corey’s attention! Corey ended up messaging LaTia on Facebook a few times after that, but she kept it friendly and cute, eventually, the messages stopped. Fast forward two years: LaTia was out with my soul sisters, when they decided to check out Corey’s gigs. Not knowing the exact location, LaTia messaged him on Instagram to ask of the location. Turns out, “old man” doesn’t check his DMs often, lol. She took a guess and headed downtown Maumee on July 3, 2023. Sure enough, Corey’s band was performing, and they were killing it! While he was singing, LaTia noticed he picked up his phone, pretending to record the crowd, but then he turned the camera on her. Yep, she caught that! He remembered her from two years ago. It started raining, and so they left. On July 5, he finally saw LaTia’s message on IG and he replied back. She responded, thinking why not, never imagining where it would lead, just curious. How sweet and a gentleman he is. On July 6, 2023, Corey asked LaTia on a date, back and forth with herself, she hesitated at first, but decided why not, plus a little fun can’t hurt. They ended up bar hopping, laughing, and listening to music , just having a lot of fun. From that date of July 6, LaTia and Corey have been inseparable, and haven’t missed a day together since. That moment led her to my person, my King, and soon-to-be husband, as she has become his Queen and future Mrs. Coley. On May 10, 2025 we became one as Mr. and Mrs. Coley
