Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide organized group transportation to and from hotels to the ceremony. Ubers are active in the area, especially over the weekends. Ubers will be the best option for transportation especially if drinking. Otherwise, there will be ample free parking, and cars can be left overnight at the venue for no charge if needed. Pick up for cars left overnight on Saturday should be by 11 am on Sunday.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please aim to arrive early, around 3:40 pm. The ceremony will start at 4:00 pm, but please plan to arrive early enough to be seated. Take into account parking and walking down the hill to the ceremony area.

Free parking on site for the ceremony/ reception.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code is Semi-Formal/ Cocktail Attire. For ladies: The venue is outside on grass, please be aware for high heels. For gents: Ties not necessary

What if I am going to be in town on Friday night before the wedding?

Answer

Many of you will be traveling from out of town and plan to stay overnight in Nevada City or Grass Valley Friday night before the wedding. Unfortunately, we are not hosting an organized group welcome party, the first official event is the wedding ceremony Saturday at 4. BUT downtown Nevada City and Grass Valley are super cute little towns to explore. Some of our favorite spots for food and drinks.... For "apres vibe" afternoon drinks & apps or casual dinner: BrewBilt BrewHaus, Nevada City Nevada City Winery, Nevada City Grass Valley Brewing Company, Grass Valley Evening spots for nice atmosphere or cocktails & wine/beer: The Stone House, Nevada City The National Bar, Nevada City Holbrook Hotel, Grass Valley Cork 49, Grass Valley Later Evening & possibly live music: Golden Era Cocktail Bar and Lounge, Nevada City

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Yes! Absolutely! Please let us know if you have any specific food allergies. We will be serving dinner as buffet style, with lots of gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian options. For vegan options please let us know in advance and we will be sure to accommodate.
