Joe and Chloe met on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at a rock quarry near Chloe’s home. She was about to start her sophomore year of college, and Joe had just graduated high school. They talked for hours that first day and quickly realized they didn’t want it to be the last time. A few days later, they saw each other again at a get together with friends. That night gave them the chance to really talk and connect, and they left feeling closer than before. From that point on, they spent most days together, building a strong friendship that naturally grew into something more. That first week included rodeos, late-night drives, takeout dinners, and long afternoons riding around in Chloe’s car with no AC in 90-degree heat. It wasn’t glamorous, but it was meaningful — the kind of simple, easy time together that felt completely natural to them. Somewhere in between all of it, they became best friends. Joe, who grew up in Corbett, made it a point to show Chloe his favorite spots — the winding roads, the viewpoints, and the quiet places that felt like home to him. It was his way of sharing his world, and she was all in. Two weeks later, they went on their first official date — which also happened to be the first time Chloe met Joe’s family. They officially started dating on August 30, 2022. The following week, Joe met Chloe’s entire extended family at her brother’s wedding. That night, they shared “I love you's” for the first time. Since then, they’ve grown up together, supported each other through every season, and continued choosing each other day after day. Now, they’re looking forward to the next chapter — and to saying forever.
