This is Andra's favorite hot springs in the area. Definitely more of a laid back "hippie" vibe but also definitely a good place to be.
Closer hot springs than Cottonwood but also more of a typical pool vibe. However you can soak in natural hot springs in the river and that's really fun!
Super cute town about 30 minutes from Salida. Offers more shops, restaurants and views.
Ghost town! About a 30/45 minute drive from Salida, St. Elmo was once a bustling mining community. Check out some of Colorado's rich mining history, stunning views, and an opportunity to feed chipmunks. Super fun for kids! Favorite hiking spot: St. Agnes Falls. This hike is easy to moderate. If you are comfortable climbing over boulders then you can see the waterfall at the end of the hike. We recommend looking the hike up on AllTrails before you go.
