Best Woman
Team Rupert I met Rupert 11 years ago, at a holiday event in DC. He was wearing a giant (and I do mean giant) silver Xmas bow as a bow-tie, and I was in a flashing illuminated Christmas onesie. Clearly it was meant to be. Our friendship quickly cemented itself and we’ve been creating really loud history ever since. If you could peek into our memories together, you’d see late nights scream-singing in the car, pajama-clad Netflix binges, birthday trips, terrorizing our significant others, and train rides to reunite in different cities. You’d see afternoons spent sitting by the river, too many inside jokes, and us supporting one another just as much as we make fun of one another. But mainly, you’d see lots and LOTS of laughing. And lots and lots of love. I’m excited and incredibly honored to be included in Rupert and Abe’s wedding day, and looking forward to meeting and celebrating with so many of their cherished loved ones!
Best Man
Team Abram As Abe’s younger twin brother, I’ve known Abe since the moment I was born. He’s only gone 5 minutes of his life without me (maybe the most relieving 5 minutes of his life after being cramped with me for 9 months). My first memory of us was either getting our diapers changed and watching the weather channel at 3am with Dad or getting mad when we were left alone in a crib at Grandmas house when we weren’t tired and wanted to play/eat. These days, we play Xbox to keep up to date on each other’s lives, travel together, talk about our physical ailments to make sure they align with the other so we know we’re not dying, and are great drinking buddies. I can’t wait to celebrate Abe and Rupert’s wedding in Greece and create many memories we will all remember for a lifetime.

Team Rupert Hey there! I'm Jedidiah, one of Rupert's partners in crime for his big day. I live in Richmond, VA and work in social media advertising – basically, I make things look pretty for a living. So, Rupert and I go back ten years, but not in the way you might think. We actually met on a dating site. Picture this: we hit it off, but instantly realized that we were destined to be girlfriends, not boyfriends. I'm stoked to be standing by Rupert's side on his big day and celebrate the love, friendship, and the joy that he and Abe bring to all of our lives. Let's make this celebration one for the books - see you on the dance floor!

Team Abram Abe and I go way back! Both of our families emigrated from Lithuania during the 1940s, ending up in Cincinnati (after living in New York City and Boston initially). Ever since our grandparents met all of those years ago, generations of Bieliauskases and Liaubas have been close friends. Over the years: Abe, Jonas, and I grew up together and kept it going. The three of us spent our childhoods together watching all the Star Wars movies, playing Halo on Xbox, going to the Outer Banks for our family vacations, etc. We all kept in touch throughout the years, but everything went to a whole other level when Abe and I found out we were both (coincidentally) going to OU and decided to be roommates. As roommates, it'd turn out that we'd share countless memories, go on all sorts of adventures, and bond like we never had before - And our friendship ended up becoming one of my closest ones. I'm honored to be part of Abe's special day where I get to see him marry the man of his dreams, Rupert. They're wonderful people, incredible friends, and I wish them the best (: Thank you, Thomas

Team Rupert My name is Cody, I’m from the Richmond, VA area and I met Rupert at my first phlebotomy job! We stayed in touch even after I left & soon found ourselves close friends. Many weekends in 2013-2014 we spent driving up to DC to visit our favorite club, Town, to dance the night away. Followed by an obligatory slice of pizza from Mama Angelou’s shop next door. We even went to see Lady Gaga’s ARTPOP concert in Philadelphia on a whim & down to VA beach a few times together. We have celebrated many birthdays & life moments together, and I am excited to celebrate Rupert & Abe’s big day! Cheers!

Team Abram Hello, it’s me, Sunwoo: a Groomswoman Extraordinaire. I met Abe on the very first day of our Master's program at the London School of Economics and I immediately knew we’d become close friends because of how stoic our first conversation was. Abe only laughed when I was being dry and I knew this guy and I will share many more dry humor over dry Riesling (or really any adult beverage). Since then, Abe became my favorite drinking and horror movie buddy, although I still have not managed to out-drink him yet ;) It would be remiss if I did not also mention Rupert. It is rare and a privilege to be able to become friends with both parties of a couple — and Rupert certainly brings out the best in Abe. To get to know Abe and Rupert as individuals, but also as a partnership has been an inspiration and I am incredibly excited to celebrate their love in Greece and in all their next chapters to come!

Team Rupert Hi! :) I am Abe's older sister (note: not bigger sister). Abe introduced me (along with our friend Deanna) to Rupert for the first time at a sushi restaurant in Woodley Park in DC when I was there on one of my many visits. Rupert and I have become good friends and travel buddies! We have visited the amazing island of Holbox, Mexico together now twice, where we've enjoyed many tacos, margaritas and Don Julio blanco tequila shots- along with bike riding, beach clubs and searching for starfish. We've also had travel adventures in Switzerland, London, NYC, The Hamptons, Montana, Utah- and soon Greece! Among my favorite Rupert moments: When we wanted to take Polly to Central Park but realized she couldn't go on the subway, so in 10 minutes he sewed a bag to carry her in from a recyclable grocery bag (with leg holes!); and when he smartly insisted we purchase large jugs of water to take back to our Airbnb in Holbox- and then commanded our friend Cheryl and I to run home with them down the beach while he poured his on himself to avoid being bit by the evil mosquitos. xoxoxoxo

Team Abram Hello everyone, I am Rupert’s favorite sister, Gilda. I first heard of Abe through a donut story Rupert sassily recounted. Moment which I thought, Oh, ok this guy can be my brother’s boyfriend I’ll allow it. Fast forward few years later to a conversation between Abe and I, accompanied by a few glasses of wine. Moment which led to everything I needed to know of Abe’s intentions with my brother. During our conversation, Abe spoke beautifully about his mom, on their type of bond, and her motherly love language. Towards the end of our long sincere conversation Abe said (I may be paraphrasing here but maybe only off by a few words) “ He reminds me of my mom, he gives me that feeling, our bond and the way he expresses his love reminds me so much of her.” That was the moment in which I thought to myself Oh, ok this guy can be my brother’s husband I’ll allow it. That was the night I felt I was gaining another brother. That was also the night we initiated Team Ken. Is it just me or did these mojo dojo casa houses just get a whole lot dreamier?
