“We’re getting married!!!

When Mike proposed, he recreated when I asked him out. On Dec 25th 2014, it was a beautiful warm Christmas Day. Mike came over for Christmas and after we opened presents I asked him if he would go for a walk with me. We went up to the ramp by my parents' pool and I told him I had one more present for him; which was a chain for his necklace I got him for his birthday. He opened up the box the contained two folded pieces of paper. The first paper said "Do you like me?" Check yes or no (like the song)! Then the other folded piece of paper said "Will you be my boyfriend?" On October 17th 2020, a few days before my birthday, we went over to my parents' house and Mike asked me if I wanted to go for a walk with him. We went to the same place that I asked him out and he gave me a piece of paper that says "Do you like me? Check yes or no." He then gave me another piece of paper with a poem on it. At the end of the poem he said he had a very important question to ask me. Once I looked up, he was down on one knee holding out my engagement ring that he created himself, asking me to marry him!
