Bride
Excited to marry my best friend!
Groom
It’s me, the groom!
Mother of the Bride
“My mom, Lori, is the heart of our family—warm, witty, and endlessly generous. Her love for Zac and me has been constant and overwhelming in the best way, and her support throughout our relationship has meant everything. She’s quick to laugh, always ready with advice (even when I didn’t know I needed it), and her fierce loyalty has taught me what it means to show up for the people you love. I’m endlessly grateful for her joy, her guidance, and the way she always makes life a little brighter.”
Father of the Bride
“My dad, Mark, is the steady, playful, big-hearted kind of person everyone hopes to have in their corner. He and my mom have a relationship built on laughter, honesty, and deep respect—and growing up, I got to witness a marriage that wasn’t just built on love, but on choosing each other every single day. He teases, jokes, and dances through life, but always with a quiet strength that I admire deeply. His love for our family runs deep, and having his support as Zac and I begin our own journey means the world.”
Mother of the Groom
“My mother is the epitome of boy mom - never wavering in her support of both myself and my brother despite all the headaches we caused. The steady matriarch of our family, she led by example and showed us what it meant to be a professional and still fully commit to raising a family. She’s always sure to make their house feel like home no matter the address, welcoming us with open arms whenever we are present. I have gained more and more appreciation for her love the farther I got from home, ultimately leading me back to NC - a decision that led me to Haley. I am forever thankful for the ultimate unconditional love and support that she gives to both Haley and I.”
Father of the Groom
“My father over the last 10 years has been the clearest example of my perfect role model. A passionate but controlled man who has more knowledge of the world than I could ever fathom, my dad has always shown and taught my brother what it means to be a good man and a good person. A shining example of someone who puts always others first, he never fails to make those around him feel comfortable and safe. I am incredibly thankful for the family I have, and the father who made it all possible.”
Maid of Honor
“I met Catie in 2017 during college, and she’s been one of the most important people in my life ever since. Now an Internal Medicine Doctor at Vanderbilt, Catie is as brilliant and driven as she is compassionate. She’s the kind of friend who always tells me what I need to hear—even when I don’t I want to hear it — and we’ve been by each others side through every high and low. From cheering me on through life’s biggest moments to helping Zac pull off the proposal (and flawlessly throwing me off the scent!), Catie has played such a special role in our journey. I’m endlessly grateful to have her standing next to me as my Maid of Honor.”
Best Man
“Pat and I met our freshman year at High Point University - random roommates that remained for four straight years. A gentle soul that always makes time for those closest to him, Pat is quick to defend his inner circle. We spent many weekends out with friends, almost always together no matter the friend group - roaming with college athletes, and bouncing through house parties of what felt like every group on campus. From our first Fortnite wins to smoking brisket and cigars on the back deck of the house, we grew closer and closer as the years went by. I was lucky enough to serve in Pat’s wedding and am honored to return the favor. Pat and his wife Jordan, both close friends to Haley and I, have a wonderfully healthy son, JC.”
Bridesmaid
“Beatriz officially became my sister-in-law when she married my brother, but she’s felt like family long before that. We actually went to high school together for a year, so I knew of her before we were formally introduced—but once Damon brought her home, it all clicked. Beatriz has a sixth sense when it comes to the people she cares about. I’ll never forget a time when I was going through something tough, and despite my best efforts to hide it, she saw right through me. She insisted I come visit her and Damon the following weekend—and didn’t take no for an answer. It was exactly what I needed. Beatriz is quick-witted, quietly hilarious, and fiercely loving. I didn’t just gain a sister—I gained a whole second family, and I’m so lucky to have them all.”
Groomsman
“My younger brother, Adam and I have built an incredible relationship over our lifetime. Adam has been a reflection, and at times a contrast to myself through the years. A stoic, hardworking, and calming young man, Adam is tempered around new company and shines brighter and brighter with time. I was honored to stand by his side at his wedding to his wonderful wife Riley in 2024. By the wedding, they will have welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the family and we are excited to see them continue to check off milestones together.”

“Riley will soon be my sister-in-law, but it already feels like she’s been part of my life much longer. We first really connected in 2024 while crashing a NCATA Conference in Wilmington, NC that Zac and Jon were attending. One evening, Zac, Adam, Riley, and I were sitting out on the balcony by the beach. While the guys caught up, Riley and I started getting to know each other better—and I remember feeling so genuinely happy that not only did we all get along, but we truly enjoyed spending time together. Since then, Riley has always gone out of her way to make me feel included and welcome, no matter the setting or the crowd. The more I’ve gotten to know her, the more excited I am that we’re becoming family. I’m so grateful to be gaining a sister—and even more grateful that it’s her.”

“Damon has always been one of my biggest constants in life—steady, supportive, and always ready with a laugh when I need it most. He’s someone I can rely on without question, and someone who challenges me to be my best self. Having him by my side on our wedding day means more to me than I can put into words. I’m so grateful for his love, his encouragement, and the warmth he brings to every moment. Watching him step into fatherhood has been the greatest gift. His growing family brings Zac and I so much joy and we are so grateful to have them in our lives.”
Bridesmaid
“Ellison is one of my oldest and dearest friends—we’ve been inseparable since we met in the 7th grade. From Bachelorette watch parties and cheering each other on at sporting events to me being her go-to date for all her college sorority formals, we’ve truly done it all together. Ellison has a bright, bubbly personality that instantly draws people in, and she’s been a constant source of support in my life—both in real life and even while playing Fortnite (seriously, she’s always saving me). We’ve been through so much side by side, and I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat. I’m so lucky to have her standing by me on this special day.”

“Jake is far and away my longest friendship - it started in Summerfield, NC on an all-Star baseball team and has remained strong since…over 15 years in the making. Jake is the type of deep friendship where we can go months without talking and suddenly pick up like we never left. Considered his 4th sibling by some (myself), Jake and I have always managed to move in sync without intention. Whether it was pool days in Ridgewood, nights playing The Show, school sponsored conference trips to Philadelphia, or bachelor party trips lakeside, Jake and I have always supported each other. We share in our beliefs of caring for the world around us and how to make everyone feel included. An authentic, goofy intellectual, Jake uses a brilliant mind and wonderful sense of humor to lighten any room. Haley and I have been lucky enough to watch he and his high school sweetheart-turned wife, Kaitlin, raise their sweet daughter Hadley.”

“Reid and I have been friends since the 7th grade, and if there’s one thing to know about him, it’s that he’s a total goofball—and proudly the biggest nerd I know (second only to his wife, Kiley). Ask me later about the lightsaber earrings. When Reid and Kiley got engaged, I joked that I loved them both too much to choose a side for their ceremony… next thing I knew, I was standing right in the middle—officiating! It was one of the greatest honors of my life. Over the years, our shared chaotic energy has driven more than a few people (including my brother) slightly crazy, but it’s also brought endless joy and laughter. Reid has always reminded me that life doesn’t have to be so serious—but when it is, he’s the first to pick up the phone and be there.”
Groomsman
“Kaelin and I started off as travel baseball teammates…the Dirtbags lore lives on. But our friendship started in college, where an unexpected familiar face turned into a lifelong friend. While walking the halls of our freshman dorm at HPU, Kaelin and I found out we lived not only in the same building but on the same floor. This serendipitous living arrangement flourished into 3 years as roommates through the rest of our time there. He is a loyal, charismatic, gentle soul who cares deeply about those closest to him, and anything Nebraska. Kaelin and his wonderful wife Maca have a beautiful baby girl, Olivia.”
Bridesmaid
“I met Kiley in the summer of 2020. What I thought would be a girlfriend of Reid’s that I would have to get along with was actually its own friendship from the jump. From the moment we started talking, it felt like I’d known her for years. Kiley is the biggest nerd I know—brilliant, endlessly creative, and a total goofball in the best way. She keeps me laughing, thinking, and smiling, often all at once. I’m so lucky to have her in my life.”
Groomsman
“Nick and I met on the job in college at HPU and quickly realized how similar our interests were. Although neither of us were involved in Greek life, we always managed to work our way into house parties and bar nights together, leaning on each other and our mutual friends for many memorable nights. Nick quickly became the final piece to my inner circle in college and that relationship has flourished since. His upbringing in a military family came with a sweet, gentle personality that makes him the perfect blend of protective and stern yet caring and supportive. We’re elated to have Nick and his incredible wife Jaycee join us for this special day.”
Bridesmaid
“Courtney and I met in 2021 while working together, where our friendship started with quick coffee chats and passing conversations. After a couple of weeks of these casual run-ins, Courtney stopped by my cubicle and formally asked if we could be friends—an offer I gladly accepted. From there, our friendship blossomed quickly, filled with puppy play dates, wine nights, and countless moments of laughter and support. Even as we both moved on to new career paths, our bond only grew stronger. Courtney has a calm, loving soul and fiercely protective of the people she cares about. She’s been quietly looking out for me since day one, and I’m endlessly thankful for her friendship and loyalty.”

“Glenn and I first met through my brother, Adam, and our friendship has developed into the type that you can always count on for a laugh and great time. He is a spontaneous, hysterically funny, and always welcoming personality - and X-factor for any strong group of friends. Haley and I were able to join in the celebration of the marriage of Glenn and his beautiful wife Rachel this past August, and I’m grateful to have Glenn with me as we’re starting this next adventure!”
