We met in high school and actually went out on a date. While nothing really came of it, we just went on as friends. We stayed in touch all through college and as fate would have it, we reconnected after moving home. Who knew that one snapchat of my dog and a night of drinks and giant Jenga would be the start of something more!

This date marked our six year anniversary! We went out to dinner at the restaurant where we always celebrate special moments. Of course, in the back of my head, I was hoping he would pop the question, but it's Alex Koorey, so you never know! Lucky for me, he did.. unlucky for him, my response was, "oh my goodness, not here, stand up!" - which is exactly what every man down on one knee wants to hear, right?! Don't worry, I immediately said YES!
