From a “you cute or whatever 😉” to Forever

And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love." - 1 Corinthians 13:13

13:13 Our journey started in the most 21st-century way possible – online! Bibin, from Virginia, and Jasmine, from New York, met and it was love at first sight! From the moment we started talking, we couldn’t help but feel that spark. It didn’t take long to realize we were clearly meant for each other - despite the distance. When we finally met in person in New York, we both had that “Wow, this is the real deal” feeling. Their first date even included a forecasted future for Jasmine! Bibin trying to buy a car while he was there. As time went on, Bibin quickly realized that Jasmine could handle his endless silliness and laugh at his, or at least what he thinks are - hilarious jokes. Jasmine, on the other hand, found that Bibin adored every little thing about her—quirks, attitude, and all. He could handle her goofy side without missing a beat, and she loved him for it. Then came the big moment: one Sunday in Philadelphia, Bibin took a deep breath, looked at Jasmine, and asked her to be his girlfriend—right in the middle of the city, at the halfway point between Virginia and New York! With the whole world (or at least a few pedestrians) watching. It was official—we were a couple, and both of us knew we were meant to be together for the long haul. Next up: the real adventure—introducing our parents. Picture this: our families running around in pure joy, as if they’d just won the lottery, realizing their kids, who’d they thought might be single forever, had found each other. Not only that, we shared the same culture, religious beliefs, and faith in God, plus enough common sense to know we could make this work. Honestly, we’re convinced our parents are even more thrilled than we are! Jasmine’s parents are overjoyed to have someone to speak Malayalam with, and as for Bibin’s mom, she couldn’t be happier to welcome the second daughter she’s always dreamed of. This union has brought our families closer in ways we never imagined! And here we are today, about to get married, ready to take on this wild adventure called life. We’ve found our partner in crime—the one who makes us laugh, supports us, and embraces all the silliness that comes with being together. We couldn’t be more excited to start this next chapter, and we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!
