We met at a Construction themed party Sadie wasn't invited to, but ended up at one Saturday night in college her freshman year. She claimed to be a pedestrian, because of the lack of costume, and he wore a suit, pretending to be a builder. She introduced herself by telling him to loosen up a little, it was a party and tie wasn't necessary; highly ironic considering it would be him telling her to loosen up for the remainder of the relationship! *I'd like to think he was sold from the start because he kept asking me out and bribing me with frozen yogurt to get me to hangout. *Persistence is key my friends* He'd probably say I was smitten first, but either way; the rest is history!
Bibhor proposed in the chapel garden at The Riviera Hotel in Palm Springs, California, with a little help from her Mom and Sister. Sadie was a little suspicious considering she's been talking and overly hinting at it for MONTHS, it wasn't a secret that she had been WAITING!! We absolutely love the resort and go to Palm Springs every year. As we got ready to go to brunch, I (Bibhor) suggested we take the long way around slightly sweating from the 100 degree weather and nerves but as we turned the corner, there was a long line of roses leading up the alter with balloons and flowers, her mom and sister had prepared. I took her hand and she started to cry. I had a whole speech planned of what I was going to say and when I was going to take out the ring, but as I got on one knee, all I could say was "Will you marry me?" We are so excited to celebrate this new stage of life with you all! See you in Temecula!
