This is one of our favorite museums in Boston, a serene setting full of history and wonderful objets d'art.
Exploring the Harvard Art Museums is a rainy (or sunny!) afternoon well-spent. Admission is free, and the Renzo Piano-designed building is worth a visit. If you have time to stroll along Harvard's campus and squeeze in a second museum, we also recommend Harvard's Museum of Natural History.
Because who doesn't love arcade games?! Erica's favorite is skee-ball, let her know your highest score if you go (please note, Roxy's is 21+)!
There's no better way to spend a day than on a boat (just ask Sam's dad, David!) Kayaking along the Charles River offers amazing views of the city. If you happen to dock near the Boston Esplanade, check out the Night Shift Brewery, an outdoor beer garden.
Though tennis is both of our families sport of choice...(guess how many Bibbys and Rosmarins grew up playing the sport!!)...we had to recommend a Red Sox game at Fenway Park. Enjoy America's oldest baseball stadium, and skip the hot dogs for Mei Mei dumplings as your gametime snack!
Newbury Street has great shopping, food, and drinks. And on Sundays in the summer, the street closes down to cars for everyone's ambling enjoyment. Definitely a place to see and be seen!
Sofra is a hidden gem, but luckily they've opened a second location in Cambridge so it's now less hidden -- and less crowded! Enjoy a casual breakfast or brunch full of Middle-Eastern flavors that truly transport you to another country.
This Cambridge restaurant has an outdoor patio, but you might be too enthralled by the amazing decor to dine outside. The modern Vietnamese menu is write-home worthy, and the cocktails are definitely Sam-approved!
Make-your-own tzatziki tableside, and endless orange wine selections. Need we say more? A favorite restaurant in our neighborhood for brunch or dinner!
