Quarantine during COVID led to a lot of online late night game nights with friends. It was through a mutual friend, Kayleigh Vilardo, that we ended up in a couple of game nights together, which led to the exchanging of numbers and some matchmaking.

Delaware Park in Buffalo has become a special place for us in terms of our relationship. It was always where we went on dates, whether it was just to walk around, have a picnic, or wander playing Pokémon Go. It was where we decided to make our relationship official, so it made sense for it to be where we decided to get married. The day started out with going out and getting some food for a picnic before heading to Delaware Park under a ‘guise’ of getting out to play Pokémon, since there was an event going on in the game. The day ended with us sitting on the same bench where Lucas asked Bianca to be his girlfriend. Only this time, Lucas asked if Bianca would marry him holding a ring pop in a lego poke ball.
