Erice offers breathtaking views of the Trapani coast and the surrounding countryside. It’s one of the most picturesque spots in Sicily and a must-visit for anyone who loves history, culture, and scenic beauty. Erice is located about 30 minutes from Marsala by car, and you can easily drive up to the town or take a bus. The scenic drive up the mountain is part of the adventure! You can also take a cable car from the nearby town of Trapani, which adds an extra bit of fun and breathtaking views as you ascend.

It is home to several pristine beaches, including the popular Spiaggia di Magaggiari (one of our favorites) and after the beach make sure to stop by Vernaci Gelateria to cool off with a delicious gelato! This is the town we stay in each summer we visit! Terrasini is about a 30-minute drive from Palermo and around 45 minutes from Castellammare del Golfo

Castellammare del Golfo is about a 45-minute drive from Trapani and just over an hour from Marsala. It's easily accessible by car and makes for a wonderful day trip, but we recommend spending at least a few hours or even a night to fully enjoy its laid-back charm and stunning views.

San Vito Lo Capo is approximately a 1.5-hour drive from Marsala and 45 minutes from Trapani. If you're in the area, it’s an easy day trip, but you’ll likely want to stay longer to soak in the beauty and tranquility of this coastal haven
