Erice offers breathtaking views of the Trapani coast and the surrounding countryside. It’s one of the most picturesque spots in Sicily and a must-visit for anyone who loves history, culture, and scenic beauty. Erice is located about 30 minutes from Marsala by car, and you can easily drive up to the town or take a bus. The scenic drive up the mountain is part of the adventure! You can also take a cable car from the nearby town of Trapani, which adds an extra bit of fun and breathtaking views as you ascend.

Terrasini is a charming and peaceful seaside town that’s perfect for those looking to experience the authentic charm of the island, away from the crowds. It is home to several pristine beaches, including the popular Spiaggia di Magaggiari (one of our favorites) and after the beach make sure to stop by Vernaci Gelateria to cool off with a delicious gelato! This is the town we stay in each summer we visit! Terrasini is about a 30-minute drive from Palermo and around 45 minutes from Castellammare del Golfo
Mondello BeachMondello Beach
If you're looking for sun, sand, and crystal-clear waters, Mondello Beach is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy some relaxation during your trip to Sicily. Located just outside Palermo, Mondello is one of Sicily's most famous beaches and one of our favorites when we're visiting! Mondello is easily accessible from Palermo, just a 20-minute drive away.
Castellammare del GolfoCastellammare del Golfo
Castellammare is known for its incredible seafood. You’ll find fresh Sicilian fish, grilled seafood platters, and local specialties. Castellammare del Golfo is about a 45-minute drive from Trapani and just over an hour from Marsala. It's easily accessible by car and makes for a wonderful day trip, but we recommend spending at least a few hours or even a night to fully enjoy its laid-back charm and stunning views.
San Vito lo CapoSan Vito lo Capo
San Vito Lo Capo is know for it's stunning blend of crystal-clear waters, dramatic cliffs, and a laid-back Mediterranean vibe. Located on the northwestern tip of Sicily, just a short drive from Trapani and Erice, this beautiful seaside town is often considered one of the most scenic and serene spots on the island. San Vito Lo Capo is approximately a 1.5-hour drive from Marsala and 45 minutes from Trapani. If you're in the area, it’s an easy day trip, but you’ll likely want to stay longer to soak in the beauty and tranquility of this coastal haven

Palermo is Sicily's capital and full of sights to see and food to eat. There are many historical buildings such as Palermo Cathedral offering stunning views of the city and Teatro Massimo, the largest theater in Italy. There many markets, like Mercato del Capo, Vucciria, or Ballarò offering wide arrays of Sicilian street food like arancini, sfincione, and granita.
