Waterway Square Park
Close to our hotel blocks and another great choice to spend the day! Walk along the waterway on a stroll or pop up to the street level for bars, and other places for a bite to eat or a drink.
The Woodlands Resort
An expansive, luxurious retreat surrounded by parks, golf courses, and forest preserves. This resort features tons of amenities if you want to enjoy tennis, golf, indulge in a spa day and other activities!
Old Town Spring
Just a few minutes north of the wedding venue is an eclectic little place called Old Town Spring. This historic area features turn-of-the-century buildings converted into funky dining and shopping spots.
Saint Arnold Brewing Company
A Houston staple and one of our favorite breweries! St. Arnold is located in Houston, about 25 minutes away from the Woodlands area, but a great option for guests staying the weekend and hoping to explore the city! Schedule a tour or just pop in for a drink on their patios. They serve food and often have food trucks on-site.
Buffalo Bayou Park
Yes, Houston has nature too! If you want to spend a relaxing day at the park, go for a run, or have a picnic with the Houston skyline in view we recommend Buffalo Bayou park - one of our favorite places to visit on the weekends with Hudson.
Houston Museum District
With 4 walking districts boasting 19 attractions, the Museum District has something for everyone. Some of our favorites are the Museum of Natural Science and the Health Museum. 10 of the museums offer Free admission everyday and the most of the others have Free admission on Thursdays!
Houston Zoo
Also in the Museum District is the Houston Zoo. Temps are expected to be in the 60's in January so pack a jacket and enjoy!
