Our story dates back to being kids and doing swim team together. We were friends, but did not stay close throughout middle school and high school after that. During high school and into college, Bianca taught swim lessons at the local gym that Shamus also went to. One day, Shamus saw Bianca walking to the pool for work and decided to stop her. He was nervous, since they never spoke to each other throughout school. He decided to ask her to go swimming together, like they used to when they were kids. Bianca was unsure, but said yes. She ended up cancelling on him because she wasn't sure how they would ever get along. But, something in her told her to give him a chance. Shamus decided to ask Bianca to see "Lion King" on Broadway and surprised her with amazing tickets. They ended up missing their bus home and talked for hours on their ride home. The conversation came easy, and although they were so different, they both started falling. Since that day, they saw each other every single day. They supported each other through their passions: Bianca's running and Shamus's dirt bike racing, laughed constantly alongside each other, and started sharing each other's passions, like fishing, biking, going to the beach, and still going to the gym together. Finally, 4 years of making memories together and they have bought their first house together, their first dog together, and are now getting married!
