A great hiking experience for all levels throughout San Diego's coastal wilderness. 1750-acre reserve throughout the sandstone canyons and cliffs, full of family-friendly paths as well as more advanced trails.
Named after the first European to set foot on our West Coast, the Monument and Lighthouse overlook the bayside to the east and the ocean to the west. One of its two trails leads you down the cliffs to the tidepools, and Sunset Cliffs Natural Park is a drivable neighbor.
